From a self-stamp machine - you rotated a handle to a letter then pulled a handle to slowly build up your message one letter at a time. I have a similar one, sadly without the Lincoln Park stamp, which I got at the park in 1973. |

Listed as MA550D New Bedford, Ma Lincoln Park was opened in 1894 by the Union Street Railway of New Bedford, Mass, and was located in North Dartmouth, Mass. on the border of Westport, Mass. The park was originally built to increase ticket sales for the railway company. |
