The Irish Channel Parade club was organized in the Channel in 1947 and celebrated their 60th Year in 2007! The parade marches through the Channel (Magazine Street, Louisiana Avenue, St. Charles Avenue, and Jackson Avenue) every year in honor of their Irish Heritage and St. Patrick.
