Tobar was a railroad construction camp in 1908, but only scattered foundations remain today. During camp construction somebody tacked up a crude sign which said "To Bar" ( Likely the camps most important building ) and the town eventually was named "Tobar" 23mm br

Irish Four-leaf clover

Sterling silver, c.38mm .80 troy ounces medal made by the Franklin Mint in the 1970's. One of a set of 12 "Good Luck Medals" - each of which has a brief explanation on reverse, including the cultural reasons why it is a popular GOOD LUCK piece. Also issued in bronze in a mylar holder, and the seller said they were issued 4th Jan 2004!

I've now seen the 12 medal set - issued 1976, described as follows;-
Franklin Mint Sterling Silver Proof Medallions Good Luck Symbols from around the world and throughout History, complete with the original booklets and in a library case for storage and in two picture-frame style display cases. Each medallion is in a plastic case.
