| Perhaps the M and S stands for minor and senior. | The large types were bought singly from the driver at a premium, small ones in bags of 10 from a kiosk in the City centre, shops & drivers. I think round & 11 sided were used as an experiment to test for wear. A 'set' of 4(!) in a plastic wallet was issued - see Smith. -
